Come explore Nepal with your family! This program allows you to learn about the history and culture of Kathmandu, hike the Annapurnas on a lodge-to-lodge trek at a leisurely pace, and view game including the one-horned rhinoceros and – if lucky – the elusive and endangered Royal Bengal tiger.
The trek is also called the Annapurna Foothills trek. You will climb up and down through terraced fields, rhododendron forests and Gurung villages. On this trek, weather permitting, you will have daily views of the Annapurna mountains. Our friendly guide staff will always be looking out for the safety of your little ones. This program has been experienced by children as young as two years old!
After the trek, you will have a day to relax in Pokhara. Continue to Chitwan for an adventurous jungle experience. Return to Kathmandu by plane, and spend some time exploring the temples and palaces in the ancient city.
Our Nepal and Tibet treks and climbs are operated by our sister company based in Nepal – Crystal Mountain Treks – managed by our founder’s family. Crystal Mountain Treks has been in business for over two decades and employs only the best guides with a minimum of 15 years experience. We treat our staff with the utmost care and respect. Each staff member is provided high-quality equipment and paid higher-than-average wages. Our clients have commented that our treks provide a better value (we provide more for less) than other companies they researched, comparing services, quality and price. We are happy to provide references of people who have journeyed with us in the past upon request.

(Did you know that the price for Grand Asian Journeys’ treks are about 30% less expensive than other major US outfitters’ prices? It’s because we run a Nepal office and have direct access to the best rates and most reliable staff – without the middleman. Other outfitters sell the same trek package for an inflated price. Just ask our previous clients and they’ll tell you we provide more for less.)
PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE:
All private departures for a date of your choosing. We are happy to customize this trip for no additional charge.
“Jwalant, as team leader, showed such a high degree of professionalism in communication and willingness to adapt to our personal aims and limitations, that we were reassured that he would deliver what we required. We have not had any reason to doubt we made the right choice. We had asked for a trekking route that would not be overrun by other trekkers and the Sikles trek provide exactly that. Our family of Mum, Dad and two teenagers had a ball. Our children had the opportunity to see life well outside their usual range of experience and loved it.
The attention to detail by Jwalant and his team allowed us to experience a lot within a short time, without having any difficulties with transport connections, miscommunication, financial surprises or even bad weather to spoil it. I great feat in a developing country.”
