Take an urban adventure touring the magnificent Kathmandu valley and it's historic cities of Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. Soar high along Mt. Everest on a scenic flight seeing trip, gazing upon the world's tallest mountain. Safari through Nepal's tropical south at Royal Chitwan National Park and search for wild elephants and the famous one-horned rhinocerous. Stay in Nepal's "other" major city of Pokhara and experience the magnificent beauty of the snow-capped Annapurna peaks at sunrise. Custom departures only.

Day 01 - Kathmandu
Arrive Kathmandu. You will be met on arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport. Transfer to Hotel. Day Free. Enjoy welcome dinner.

Day 02 - Kathmandu
Full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu. You will be accompanied by our in-house city guide. In the morning, visit Bodhanath, the Stupa of a Million dew drops, to watch monks and devotees circumambulate the largest stupa in the world. Then visit Pashupatinath, Nepal's most sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva, with its two-tiered golden roof and silver door. Drive to Patan for lunch in the garden of the Patan Museum Café. After lunch, visit the well-maintained Patan Museum storing ancient Nepali artifacts, followed by a tour of Patan Durbar Square. Drive back to Kathmandu.

Day 03 - Kathmandu to Nagarkot
Everest flightseeing: Early morning transfer to airport for an hour long mountain flight to view Mt. Everest and other Himalayan peaks of the eastern Himalaya. Return to Hotel for Breakfast. After breakfast visit the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Continue to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the city of devotees. After lunch, drive to Nagarkot for sunset.

Day 04 - Nagarkot to Pokhara
Fly to Pokhara. Day free to relax by the lake-side.

Overnight Temple Tree or similar. (Breakfast and Lunch)

Day 05 - Pokhara
Early morning drive to Sarangkot to view the Annapurna range. After Breakfast, visit the International Mountain Museum. Optional hike to the Peace Stupa (20 minutes boat ride across the Lake Phewa and 1 to 2 hours hike to the top). Afternoon free in Pokhara.

Overnight Temple Tree or similar. (Breakfast and Lunch)

Day 06 - Pokhara to Chitwan
Drive by private vehicle to Chitwan. Evening cultural activities in Chitwan.

Overnight Rhino Residency Lodge or similar. (Breakfast and Dinner)

Day 07 - Chitwan jungle activities
Full day of Jungle activities: Morning ride on a dug-out canoe to see Gharial crocodiles. Elephant Back ride to view game in the park. Visit to the Elephant Breeding Center.

Overnight Rhino Residency Lodge or similar. (All meals)

Day 08 - Fly to Kathmandu
Morning Jungle walk. Drive to airport for flight to Kathmandu. Afternoon free in Kathmandu. Farewell dinner.

Make a copy of the photo page of your passport. If your trip involves a trek in Nepal, email or send us a passport-sized color photo. Mail a check for $500 per person for Nepal Treks or $1,000 for other journeys (non-refundable deposit), passport copy, photo and completed reservation form.

If you are traveling to Bhutan, we are required to book your airfare so an additional payment will be required. Contact us for details.

Cancelation Policy

If you cancel:

• More than 60 days prior to departure; deposit is forfeited, the remainder is refunded
• 60 to 30 days prior to departure, 50% of tour cost subject to refund
• No refunds will be provided for any unused services or cancellations made within 30 days prior to departure
